Cheesecake with Strawberries

Jan. 22/2011.  I first read about this place a little over a year ago, and I thought it sounded like a good place to bring a girl. It's this neat little spot on Granville that's open late and they pretty much serve cheesecake and different teas. The ambient lightning inside sets a cool relaxed atmosphere. Tonight I felt like dessert and I had come here twice before so I grabbed my girl jumped in the car and headed over.

We arrived around 9:30pm to find a line up of people stretching outside. I guess word of mouth has spread about this place in the last little while. The owners opened up another part of the building and brought us and the others in line inside. I thought that was cool that they owned another whole building that they open up if it gets crowded. We sat down and ordered our food. I got the plain cheesecake with strawberries and my girlfriend ordered french bread with cinnamon and earl gray tea.

I usually am not a dessert person, I like my protein very much but this cheesecake is really good. The strawberries on it are what make it for

me. I can't say I am much of a cheesecake expert, I have only ever had it at Denny's before but the one I had tonight was much better. I think this place is a great idea if you want to save money and instead of taking someone out to dinner, wait till later and take them here and treat yourselves to something sweet.

All Done

The bread with Cinnamon on it was a little dry but tasted pretty good when we soaked up the extra sauce from the cheesecake with it. If you live in the Vancouver area and have a bit of a sweet tooth try this place out, they're open nightly from 7pm-1am.
