It was a Friday and I was foreveralone.jpg at home. The weather was foul, clouds, rain, a very dull day. I knew there was something missing, something deep inside of me that needed to be fulfilled if I was to be happy again.
Racking my brain, I came to the conclusion that I needed some hot Pho soup. Not living in Delta anymore I didn't have access to my staple Vietnamese restaurant but there were a couple nearby so I thought I'd check out Pho 101
It is located in between two other restaurants, apparently the Sushi Town beside it is very good.
I looked over the menu and decided to go with a
large Pho Tai Chin Gan - rare steak, well-done brisket & tendon noodle soup $7.50
They brought out the toppings and there was no jalapenos, I didn't complain because it wasn't worth it but I did shed a single tear.
As for the soup, initially I was unimpressed because I couldn't see much meat, I thought common where's the beef? After digging around in the bowl I realised there was much more than I had thought..crisis averted. I thought it was a decent pho, I have honestly only had it at one other place so I don't really know what constitutes a good bowl.
I like that this place is very close by and the service was quite quick..not sure how busy it gets but it was fine when I went around lunch time.
Mm I love asian food, haven't had Vietnamese in awhile.
